The Pan Mass Challenge (PMC) is the nation’s single most successful athletic fundraising event, giving 100% of proceeds to cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Since 1980 this yearly bike-a-thon has crossed the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with bikers riding 200 miles to raise funds for those they will always hold dear. This year, the 39th PMC will take place on August 4-5 and between now and then you can order a cocktail at Toro, Coppa or Little Donkey that will benefit Caitlin McGarrahan and Team Resting Bike Face.
We couldn't be more proud to support such a worthy cause. So we had Caitlin and her go-pro take us on a Pan JK Challenge, to demonstrate all that's in store. (See video above.)
Beginning in Cambridge at Little Donkey it is the Ode to Pablo cocktail that'll earn the PMC $5. This satisfying summer number includes Mezcal, Aperol, spicy ginger shrub and lime.
Across the bridge Caitlin rode back to the South End, where Toro donates proceeds from the Frozen G+T Slushy. This summertime staple includes Gin, Tonic, and angostura bitters.
Just down the sunny brownstone lined road to Coppa. If you don't have on your agenda to head here for an Aperol Spritz between now and August 4th, here's your excuse. $5 goes to cancer research and you don't even have to get on a bike. Caitlin is doing all the legwork, literally.
