This month marks five years since James Beard Award-winning restaurateurs Ken Oringer and Jamie Bissonnette brought their Barcelona-style tapas to Chelsea, New York. Half a decade later, they are just as passionate about the communal experience of small, flavorful plates arriving casually and often, with a plentiful variety of gin and tonics and an eclectic selection of Spanish wines. It is only fitting that they commemorate this significant moment with One Night in Ibiza!
On Thursday, September 27th, Toro New York will bring the drama and splendor of Ibiza to NYC for one night only. Starting at 10pm, the restaurant will transform into a space evoking the high-energy atmosphere that the Spanish island is famous for, complete with the dynamic bites and menu favorites that have secured Toro’s staying power on the New York food scene. Drink specials will be as brazen as the bikinis on the beaches spanning the Balearic Islands, with lights, smoke and fire inspired by the electric nightlife of the celebrated island.
